The Drake hotel Chicago wedding with Alexandra and Andrew.
We first met our clients Alexandra and Andrew last year to do their engagement session. It is always great to work with familiar faces. We were thrilled to see them again!
Allie and Andrew were getting ready in the outstanding Drake hotel. Drake hotel is national historic landmark. It was frequently visited by high society Chicago elite. Allie got the most amazing princess Diana suite with spectacular views of the city. Many of their wonderful friends and family were in the hotel, helping them get ready. We were truly impressed by incredible MaryEllen from Big City Bride, who was of enormous help and made sure everything was going smoothly.
After the first look in the hotel, entire bridal party headed to Adler Planetarium for some photos with Allie and Andrew. We did not have much time before the ceremony so Planetarium was perfect choice. Luckily for us the weather was perfect with lots of sunshine.
Ceremony took place in Annunciation Greet Orthodox Cathedral of Chicago. It was beautiful to see joining of two families of Serbian and Greek heritage.
For the reception we returned to The Drake. No words can describe the amazing atmosphere with everyone dancing to the sounds of Velocity band. Great time, great people, so much fun! Amazing wedding!
