Indian wedding photography Florida with exquisite Roshni and Shymal. This three day South Asian wedding took place in historic St Augustine. St Augustine is one of the most beautiful cities in US and we could not pass the opportunity to work there. While it was physically demanding it was completely worth it. Not just because we are very happy with the photos we took but because we got to meet a wonderful group of people both guests and vendors. First day was reserved for Mehndi at St Augustine Lighthouse. We got to meet most of the family members and guests while they were enjoying d’oeuvres  in the shade of St Augustine’s Lighthouse garden. We learned that Roshni is a real champion! She was sitting in a chair more than 5 hours getting her henna done. Sam had to literally feed her because she couldn’t move the entire time. Second day all the action was taking place in the Embassy Suites. In the morning Bride’s Vidhi and groom’s Pithi. After that we went to Washington Oaks State Park for couple’s photos. They wanted to have some nature photos  and since Sam grew up in St Augustine, he knows all the good spots!  Roshni and Sam are very affectionate and look great together, so it wasn’t very hard doing posed photos. Plus, they are probably one of the most stylish couples we ever photographed. With their display of matching outfits for every event, it felt like doing an editorial for  South Asian magazine. After the photo session we returned to the Embassy suites for the Sangeet. We don’t have to tell you how fun the night of dancing and games is! We started the final day of the Ceremony and Reception at 5am. Everyone was half asleep while getting ready 🙂 Roshni and Sam had a first look at the beach followed by wedding party photos. Ceremony took place on Sunrise Lawn overlooking the ocean. It was gorgeous backdrop but it got a little hot around the noon. Sam had a couple of surprises for Roshni including an elephant made of sand and a plane flying over the ceremony carrying the sign: A tele of two Patels. Story of two Patels was a theme through the night as well. Reception took place in Lightner Museum. Museum is an iconic building in the center of the St Augustine. We loved how Roshni and Sam practiced their first dance every chance they got before the reception and during the cocktail hour. They kept saying they did not have time to practice all the dance moves but their performance was outstanding. And even though they were exhausted after three days of non stop action and lack of sleep , dancing and party continued well into the night. And to top it all, sparklers exit with the whole wedding lining up! Congratulations one more time Patels! We loved being part of your wedding. Huge thanks to Brittany from Uncorked Occasions who helped Roshni plan and execute every detail big and small. If you want to see more South Asian weddings click here.
