Indian Catholic wedding with wonderful Stephanie and Jimmy. We first met Stephanie and Jimmy last year prior to their engagement shot. Instead of choosing popular Downtown locations, they choose a place in Jimmy’s neighborhood: Prairie Avenue Historic District. The street is closed for traffic and features gorgeous mansions on each side of the street. Jimmy wanted to include his motorcycle in few of the photos. It was incredibly fun capturing action shots with Stephanie and Jimmy on a motorcycle. They also brought their jerseys for some sport loving shots and ate tacos on the steps of The Clark house.  The historic Clark house is the oldest building constructed in Chicago. The house itself is beautiful, surrounded by gardens and it is perfect for the engagement sessions. Their wedding was supposed to be a lavish affair with over 350 guests. Due to the pandemic and city restrictions they had to cut it down to 50 guest. Catholic ceremony was at St Mary of Czestochowa Parish. Instead of previously booked Chateau Del Mar, reception was at Jimmy’s parent’s backyard. It was nonetheless the most fun wedding we attended this year! With masks on during the dance 🙂 You can see another Indian Catholic wedding on our blog.
