Cog Hill Golf & Country Club wedding with wonderful Alyssa & Ron
We absolutely loved being part of this emotional September wedding at the Cog Hill Golf & Country Club in Lemont, IL. Alyssa and Ron were not sure if they are going to go through it because of the Covid Pandemic. They were really lucky because Cog Hill had an option for outdoor reception and the weather was beautiful. Alyssa and her bridesmaids were really fun to be around. There was a lot of laughter and some tears. We photographed the first look with Alyssa and her father and grandfather. After that we hoped on the bus for a ride to the venue. Alysa met with Ron for a first look which was pretty awesome 🙂
Ceremony was outside and it was breathtaking. It is always incredibly satisfying being able to witness love and family support.
One thing that we need to mention is that golf club venues are great option for weddings. There is a lot of scenic greenery, towering trees and colorful blooms, thus making it ideal backdrop for photos. It saves you a lot of time that you would need for location photos. After the ceremony and brief family photos, guest headed to a cocktail hour. We used that time for some couple’s photos with a wedding party.
Reception was truly unique. Everything was moved outside to provide extra space and comply with restriction rules. It was covered and central tables for the bride and groom and wedding party were organized like stairs with a huge MR & MRS lighted sign below the tables.
Photos turned out amazing. Milan even got several WPJ awards in documentary wedding category. Enjoy!
